In this paper, an alternative approach in operational modal analysis is presented, utilizing image PROCESSING technique and transmissibility functions. Imaging sensors do not impose additional mass on the structure due to their non-contact nature, while transmissibility functions, independent of excitation type, can directly extract mode shapes. The innovation of this research lies in combining these two techniques to record dynamic responses and identify modal properties. To capture the temporal response history from video signals, the block-matching method with sub-pixel accuracy was employed. Validation was conducted by recording the response of the tip of a cantilevered steel beam subjected to impact excitation, using a high-speed camera and a laser vibrometer, simultaneously. The RMSE plots in the time domain and the PSD in the frequency domain indicate high accuracy of this method. Using this approach, the displacement time histories of various points on the structure were extracted from the video signals, and the modal properties, including natural frequencies, damping ratios, and mode shapes, were identified using the transmissibility matrix method. The results obtained from the proposed method were compared with the stochastic subspace identification (SSI) method and analytical solutions. The findings reveal the accuracy of the modal identification approach introduced in this article. The highest relative error in estimating the natural frequencies of the first and second modes, compared to the values from the laser method, are 0.19% and 0.13%, respectively, and in comparison to the analytical values, they are 0.34% and 1.5%, respectively.

The analysis of EEG signals plays an important role in a wide range of applications, such as psychotropic drug research, sleep studies, seizure detection and hypnosis PROCESSING. From years ago hypnosis was known as a method to help the patients in different fields such as reduction of stress, leaving bad habits, pain control and etc. EEG signals during pure hypnosis would differ from those recorded in the normal no hypnotic conditions. There are several methods for analyzing the EEG signal and similarity index method is one of the famous methods in this branch. In this paper the features of EEG signal of three groups of people with different hypnotizability during hypnosis (Fractal, Wavelet Entropy, Frequency Bands) from left-right and frontal-back lobes were extracted and analyzed using Fuzzy Similarity Index Method to find whether there are any significant relations between the function of these HEMISPHERES and hypnotizability degree. Finally after detecting the significancy, we used the selected features were used to classify the subjects into three groups of hypnotizability. The best classification accuracy was obtained 94% (for two classes of features 1. entropy, Higuchi, high frequency, 2. energy and entropy) and the lowest was 87.5% (for entropy, Higuchi and low frequency features).

Background: Muscle fatigue has been known to influence brain activity, but very little is known about how cortical centers respond to muscle fatigue. Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of muscle contraction and fatigue induced by two different percents of maximal voluntary contraction (MVC) on Electroencephalography (EEG) signals. Material and Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, EEG signals were recorded from twenty-one healthy human subjects during three phases (rest, pre fatigue and post fatigue) contraction of Adductor pollicis muscle (APM) at 30% and 70% MVC. The mean powers of EEG bands (alpha, beta and gamma) were computed offline in the frequency domain. Results: None of the three phases with each percent of MVC revealed significant differences for all bands (p>0. 05). Comparison of two HEMISPHERES showed that right hemisphere gamma band activity was enhanced during pre-fatigue state at 30% MVC (p= 0. 042) and post-fatigue state at 70% MVC (p= 0. 028). Right hemisphere beta band activity also increased prominently at 70% MVC in post-fatigue condition (p = 0. 030). Conclusion: These results suggest muscle contraction and fatigue at 30% and 70% MVC have no significant effect on EEG activity, but the trends of beta and gamma band activities are almost similar in each percent of 30% and 70% MVC. Right brain hemisphere shows more activity than left hemisphere in beta and gamma rhythm after fatigue state at 70% MVC.

In traditional speech PROCESSING, feature extraction and classification were conducted as separate steps. The advent of deep neural networks has enabled methods that simultaneously model the relationship between acoustic and phonetic characteristics of speech while classifying it directly from the raw waveform. The first convolutional layer in these networks acts as a filter bank. To enhance interpretability and reduce the number of parameters, researchers have explored the use of parametric filters, with the SincNet architecture being a notable advancement. In SincNet's initial convolutional layer, rectangular bandpass filters are learned instead of fully trainable filters. This approach allows for modeling with fewer parameters, thereby improving the network's convergence speed and accuracy. Analyzing the learned filter bank also provides valuable insights into the model's performance. The reduction in parameters, along with increased accuracy and interpretability, has led to the adoption of various parametric filters and deep architectures across diverse speech PROCESSING applications. This paper introduces different types of parametric filters and discusses their integration into various deep architectures. Additionally, it examines the specific applications in speech PROCESSING where these filters have proven effective.

Evaluating the cutting rate (CR) of stones is important in the cost estimation and the planning of the stone PROCESSING plants. This research used regression models to estimate the stones’ CR based on their physico-mechanical characteristics. Stone PROCESSING factories in Mahallat City (Markazi province, Iran) were visited, and the CR of diamond circular saws was recorded on six different travertine stones. Next, the stone block samples were collected from the quarries for laboratory tests. Stones’ porosity (n), uniaxial compressive strength (UCS), and Schmidt hammer hardness (SH) were determined in the laboratory as their physico-mechanical characteristics. Correlation relationships of CR with physico-mechanical characteristics were evaluated using simple and multiple regression analyses, and estimator models were developed. Results showed that multiple regression models are more reliable than simple regression for estimating the stones’ CR. The validity of the developed multiple regression models was verified with the published data of one researcher. The findings indicated that these models are accurate enough for estimating the CR of stones. Consequently, the multiple regression models provide practical advantages for estimating the CR and save time and cost during the planning and design of the stone PROCESSING factories.

1Pulses form stable dietary components for majority of population across the world. Different people consume pulses in different ways like Uncooked, Soaked, and cooked or only cooked without soaking. All these PROCESSING techniques lead to changes in the nutritional value of the pulses. Studies have also reported that in addition to nutritional components like Proteins, Carbohydrates, and fats, pulses also contain anti-nutritional components like Lectins, Tannins, and Polyphenols that greatly interfere with digestion of pulses in the human intestine. Hence in the current study a comprehensive review is being compiled to evaluate the nutritional and antinutritional aspects of pulses and effect of PROCESSING methods on invitro protein and starch digestibility of the pulses.

In some point of view, neither Michel Foucault nor Ibn Khaldun are considered philosophers in the conventional classifications, but both are very  important in intellectual and, of course, in philosophical contexts, especially for those who are interested in the deep study of human life from the perspective of political thought.The main concern of two thinkers, one in the 14th century, the other in the 20th century, is the issue  of power, although neither of them provided a precise definition of it. In this article, an attempt has been made to show the place of power and domination in the political thought of both thinkers by examining the thoughts of two thinkers. And in search of an answer to this question, how did Asabiyyah and industry of religion in Ibn Khaldun's thought and social control through self-technology and discipline in Foucault's thought lead to the expansion of the domination of power? This article is written by analytically comparing the opinions of two thinkers based on Ibn Khaldun's most important book called Muqaddimah and Foucault's late works

سابقه و هدف: واریکوسل از جمله عوامل ناباروری در مردان است. این بیماری، با تغییر در دما و درناژ وریدهای بیضوی موجب اختلال در اسپرماتوژنز و کاهش باروری می گردد. هر چند واریکوسلکتومی، درمان اینگونه بیماران می باشد اما امروزه روشهای کمک باروری و آماده کردن به روشهای مختلف از جمله Sperm PROCESSING و انجام swin up کمک قابل توجهی به این بیماران جهت بارور شدن می نماید.مواد و روشها: این مطالعه به روش مداخله ای در 155 نفر در سال 83 در مرکز ناباروری دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بابل انجام شد. پارامترهای اسپرم افراد واریکوسل قبل و بعد از PROCESSING مورد بررسی قرار گرفت.یافته ها: میانگین سن بیماران 31.8 سال بود. حرکت اسپرم در Grade III و Grade IV قبل از Sperm PROCESSING بترتیب 53.9% و 12.9% بود که بعد از آماده سازی، بترتیب به 78.8% و 56.8% افزایش یافت. Total motility در گروه کمتر از 40 درصد حرکت اسپرم، از 19 نفر به 87 نفر یعنی بیش از 80 درصد افزایش یافت.نتیجه گیری: نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که در این نوع بیماران می توان به آماده سازی و جمع آوری اسپرمهای مناسب، شانس باروری را افزایش داد.
